     The ship shall have the following signs:

  Notice:


   Ships that cannot be marked at the positions specified in the preceding paragraph due to ship type or size restrictions, shall indicate the ship’s name and port of registry in a conspicuous position on the ship.


  Small ships mark the home port


  Small ships should indicate the home port on both sides of the bow and under the name of the stern


  Small ships whose ship length is less than 20 meters or whose ship type cannot be marked with the ship name mark in the specified position shall be marked with the ship's name and port of registry in one of the following ways:


   (1) Equipped with one type of two signs, facing outboard and symmetrically installed on the top of the bridge superstructure or at appropriate prominent positions on the left and right bulkheads;


   (2) Small ships without cabins shall be equipped with a sign board, which shall be installed in an appropriate prominent position on the ship facing the front;


   (3) Equipped with light boxes instead of signs. Equipped with a double-sided display light box, installed at a suitable position on the central axis of the top of the superstructure of the cab.


   Ship Inspection Registration Number


   The Maritime Safety Administration's ship inspection registration number shall be stamped by the first inspection and registration department with a steel seal or other effective means on a certain location on the ship that is easy to see and not easily corroded. The location should be indicated on the ship inspection certificate.


   ship identification number


  The identification number of the newly built ship shall be permanently marked on the inside of the hull near the tail shaft of the main propulsion power plant in the machinery space. If there is no main propulsion power unit, it shall be marked at the position designated by the ship inspection agency.


   The marking position of the ship identification number should be suitable for placement and inspection


   Steel ships of newly built ships shall be permanently marked with the ship identification number by means of welding with protruding steel characters; non-steel ships shall be marked with a method approved by the ship inspection agency and capable of being permanently maintained. The permanently marked ship identification number should be legible.
